Christmas 2006

My first gingerbread house. I made the walls and Rachel and Sze-En stick the walls and roof together with icing. Then they decorated it. I was so busy at that time with the Christmas Sharing Program. I made the cakes too. If I remember correctly, 7 cakes.

We had this celebration on the 16th December 2006. It was our birthday, and Voon Fui's (one day earlier). Rajen provided the lamb. The rest are all catered.

My mother had a good time decorating the house. She shifted into this new house on the 18 Nov. What she did was not to put away all the christmas decorations into the store room.

Christmas Sharing Program 2006

This is our 2nd Christmas Sharing Program with the Street People. It was held in the same place - opposite harp key. Every Friday some of our friends will go round and distribute food to the poor. This Christmas (like last year) we wanted to have a celebration for the street people, to meet them and have a meal together and to give them presents. Many of these people are homeless.
Dr Peter, Dr Lionel, Cheng and Cynthia assisted by checking their teeth and giving free medical advice.

Christmas Cookies

Christmas 2006. Everyone was busy baking cookies. Sze-En wanted to help, but we didn't want her to spoil our creation (hehe). So kind Aunty Eunice made some gingerbread dough for her and in no time she happily rolled and cut out some shapes and later placed the cookies into the oven all by herself. Her very own oven, because we didn't want her to mess with grandma's hot and old-fashion oven.

2006-Christmas at Mid Valley

This year's theme was gingerbread house. We brought Ruth and baby Henry along.
