Cendol in Malacca

Last week, Minch, Matt, baby Wayne and I were in Malacca. We went food shopping over at Tan Kim Hock, a famous brand for sweet and sour junk and rich food. Feeling hot and humid, we decided to try their cendol. It cost us RM3.00 per bowl. I thought it was kinda expensive but who knew, maybe it tasted better or they put in some extra stuff in there.

It was lousy. That was my first thought when I took the first bite. Minch and Matt didn't think much about it too. I told Minch... for once both of us have the same taste. Usually her taste and mine were completely different. Minch said she will never eat cendol here again. Same goes for me too, unless they changed their recipe. :)

Should have walked across the street to that shop with all the trinkets, where you sit on short little round stools. Best chendol in that street area. :)

For the price of RM3 per bowl, I thought it would be a good one. Anyway, I think I prefer the one opposite the red church.

Vive - I forgot you were once working in Malacca. Should have asked you which are the good places in MA for the kids to visit.
