After 2 days and 2 nights of hard work, FC and Sally took the Hi-Volt team for dinner ( I often forgot that Seremban was also famous for crabs). The church had hired Hi-Volt to help us with lights and sound for the coming musical. These guys worked over night, both nights and slept very little. The plan was to work them first, then feed them with a good meal and then work them again this weekend for the musical.
There were 13 of us, 8 from Hi-Volt, FS and Sally (coordinators of the musical), Steve, Rachel and I. Gosh, you should see them eat. The table was so big that if you put the dishes in the middle, chances were you had to stand up and reached for the dishes. So what we did was to pass the dish around. By the time it reached us, it was almost gone. I had my first bite when someone from the Hi-Volt team announced that he wanted to have a second bowl of rice. Goodness!!
When the crabs came, everyone started was excited. Two big plates of crabs. I think each plate was at least 2 kgs..... and they managed to finish all.
The chicken came later. After the crab dishes, everyone was reluctant to eat the chicken. It was as though they wanted to savour the after taste of the crabs.

The guy next to Rachel enjoyed the crab so much. I think he ate the most. 3 plates of rice and he left a big pile of crab shells on his plate. We had to give him a clean plate to eat more crabs.
It was an enjoyable meal. It was at least 2 years since I last had a meal there. :)
